The size chart link is the least-clicked element on most fashion product pages. Garu replaces it with a single recommendation for the item in front of the shopper.
Why size charts and fit quizzes both underperform.
A size chart hands the shopper a table and a job. They need a tape measure they do not own, a flat-versus-worn conversion nobody explains, and the confidence to override what the reviews say. Most people close it and buy their usual size, or buy two.
Fit quizzes get further but ask too much. Six screens of questions before an answer is a price most shoppers will not pay while they are still deciding whether they like the piece at all.
Garu's size finder is three inputs and one answer, in the flow of the product page. It returns a single size for that garment with a confidence score, and if the shopper wants to see it rather than trust it, the same widget renders the piece on them at the recommended size. The finder and the try-on are one interaction, which is why shoppers finish it.
